Some applications are tubular & some are boxed steel construction. Some control arm kits will have dual shock mounts and others do not. 1999-2006 1500 Versions will require the use of a limit strap to prevent the arm from damaging itself on the metal droop stop. Use these Balljoint / Uniball Upper control arms to increase wheel travel on lifted applications which drop the front differential down the same as the lower control arm. You can also use the balljoint arms as a stock replacement upper control arm, keeping the vehicle at stock height, or leveling. Depending on where the balljoint is mounted, they can be used stock height or in a cranked up fashion. Our 1500HD, 2500, 2500HD, 3500, 3500HD, Hummer H2 8lug Upper Control Arms have extra caster built into them to help your vehicle have a more stable ride down straight roads and highways. The upper balljoint / uniball angle has been corrected for lifted applications.
